Original George`s Burgers and Subs in Morris

The service was good and the meals were large. But the food was slightly subpar.

Double five stars! Super friendly and the food was awsome we came all the way from Steinbach to eat here. Shortly before closing time and we forgot our wallet. The owner was very nice and forth coming.Thanks again George.

First off the owners were very friendly and helpful on choosing from the menu, he mentioned portions were large and he was not kidding!Food was great along with the atmosphere. I constantly overheard the next table saying how they appreciated the family run business in Morris and how good the food was. So for my review I give it a 10/10 for friendliness, cleanliness and value for your dollar. I enjoyed sitting at the table with the windows with the warm sunshine but look forward to sitting at the patio in summer as I drive through town and conduct business.

Purchased a couple twists ice cream treats. Very nice favour and thick texture so passed the eye test too.

Excellent food with even better portions (watch out with the large fries, they're delicious but you'll never finish them on your own), and friendly service. My favorite is the Greek burger with lots of tzatziki.

Wow!! Food is excellent, fast food with a real homemade flavour. Prices are reasonable, and the service was quick. I'm glad I stopped in, and will do so again soon!

Food is good. Portions of fries are huge. Would go back to eat. During Covid there was seating only on the outside patio in back but was comfortable and pleasant.

Had the George's double bacon cheeseburger and strawberry milkshake...my wife and I split it and it was plenty of food. We actually went back and ordered fries and that made us feel super stuffed but happy. The burgers are delicious and the buns are thin so you don't fill up unnecessarily. The burger comes loaded with everything you need. Burger was $9 and the milkshake was big and $5.25

Hands down, best burgers in town. Staff is also very polite, and helpful. Great little place to come and hang out with friends. Patio area out back has some personal touches, and doesn't feel like a generic restaurant. I'm craving a burger now.

Used to be good. Quality dropoed dramatically and servers have an attitude.

The only good part of this place is that it's cheap.The food is bland and sloppier then McDonald's. It used to be a thousand times better when george himself was running it. Will not go back until they improve there food.

I ordered a chicken burger. The chicken was dry and tasteless. The burger only had lettuce tomato and mayo and overall very tasteless. An unnecessarily large portion of OK French fries.

Great food. The sizes are larger than what you think. 1plate of fries can feed 2 or 3 people even, which is great! And their small icecream cone is more like a medium. It takes a bit to get the food. I had ordered onion rings, and a small icecream, and it took about 10 minutes or maybe a little more. To be fair it was busy. But a great place to eat, and has really good food!

Their poutine is probably the best in southern MB. Their coffee milkshake is amazing.

Disappointed in the quality of food at the Morris location. Never EVER would I serve poor quality like what I received from there. This was supposed to be a cheeseburger with the works. It clearly isn't. Will give it a better rating once the owners revamp that portion of their business as the quality of food at the Winnipeg locations is amazing.

This was a great place to eat. The cheeseburger was delicious. The bun was super fresh. We shared small fries and it was almost too much for the two of us. I am sad we don't live closer to this restaurant.

The quality of the food has dropped drastically since George left the place to someone else to run. The burgers lack flavour anymore and have shrunk in size a lot. The bacon seems to have changed as well. The chilli on the burgers is not flavourful anymore either. I used to eat there at least once a week under George. Now I’m lucky if I go once every two months. I have tried 4x this summer to get an ice cream sandwich. Never have any made. Last time I was there the girl said, no we’re sold out, they’re very popular. I said every time I come in you’re sold out. Maybe you guys should start making more if you’re constantly selling out, that would be the smart thing to do. Very disappointed in this restaurant now. Quality and quantity have dropped while price keeps going up.
